Great Video! I want to try out a crane and get pictures of the exterior from a different angle. Have you ever used on before? If so how did it go?
It’s absolutely not. I personally use HDR photography when taking interior shots, as well as daytime exterior shots. The only time I personally use flash, is for twilight and night exterior shots.
You are correct in saying that interior flash washes out the scene. That is my opinion as well, and that is why I use HDR. However, you shouldn’t limit yourself either. There are certain scenes that call for the use of flash, and you should learn, and be confident in using it when it’s appropriate.
Why is off camera flash needed (the speed light?) I’ve heard some photographers don’t use flash for RE photography because it washes out the scene. Curious for your feedback. Thanks.
