Inside the DR CHIPPER is a massive 55-pound flywheel. Mounted to that flywheel is our PRO-SPEC chipper knife. Made of hardened tool steel, this knife will hold an edge far longer than the cheap stamped steel knives used on many other chippers. The 3 Point Hitch DR Chipper is constructed of heavy gauge steel and protected with a baked-on finish that resists rust and corrosion. The 3-Point Hitch model features a top-discharge chute that disperses the chips onto the ground. You can also add the Extended Discharge Chute for dispersing chips directly into the bed of a pickup truck or into a trailer. A pivoting deflector allows you to control the angle of the discharge up to 180 degrees. With this option, you can even broadcast the chips over a large area, so there’s no pile left behind.
